Food Distribution Program
The Food Distribution Program is operated through a partnership with the High Desert Food Collaborative (HDFC), High Desert Second Chance (HDSC), and the Community Action Partnership San Bernardino County as a network system that provides not only a framework for deeper collaboration between community service providers, officials, and food providers but also a more organized and effective approach to serving the needs of the food insecure residents.
Food is distributed twice a month to both Newberry Springs and Yermo households that are below the Income Eligibility Guidelines.
